Books I've Read  & Loved

Tactics
Gregory Koukl

An amazing book on how to communicate and relate to people in a non-confrontational way. Instead of stating opinions, this book teaches you how to use questions to truly understand a person's perspective and inspire them to think in ways that present yours.

Speaking Peace in a World of Conflict
Marshall Rosenberg

This book is about what the basic human needs are, such as food, beauty, laughter, acceptance, emotional safety and empathy. It describes how to truly understand what missing need is triggering your feelings and actions and understand what is missing in the hearts of others.

By doing so, one learns how to communicate and understand people better and learn about healthy compromise that meets as many needs as possible of all the people involved.

The Case for Christ
Lee Strobel

The fascinating, thought-provoking and enlightening journey of a skeptic journalist who confronts the existence of Jesus using court worthy techniques such as timelines, archeology, reliability, and witness accounts both in and outside of the Bible.

God's Crime Scene
J. Warner Wallace

This is a fascinating read by a cold case detective, J. Warner Wallace, who uses crime scene tactics to investigate whether the universe as we see it just happened, or if there is evidence of a divine "intruder"--or rather, God.

Writing in a way for everyone to understand without any background or skill in science or math, agnostic Michio Kaku discusses modern scientific theories about the origin of the universe. Although it's not from a Biblical perspective, it does a good job of illustrating the complexity of creation and how scientists are mystified about how to explain it.

The Case for a Creator
Lee Stroble

From cosmology to biology to consciousness, Stroble talks to key scientists and philosophers about the complexity of all that exists and the probabilities of creationism versus random chance. It is written in an engaging format of interviews and designed for anyone to understand.
